During the Extruders 1 and 2 courses, participants got to know the extrusion process thoroughly. Now we zoom in even further on the process techniques. The participants are given the opportunity to change machine settings and process parameters and to test the effect of this experimentally; often there is no time for this in the work practice. We handle analyzing and solving common problems.

The Maes Insight trainers have successfully trained employees from the plastics industry for many years. Our teachers know the work floor. They treat the subject matter briefly and concisely, interactively based on the practical situation of the participants.​

Afterwards, the student knows:

  • adjust and adjust the extruder machine
  • analyze process disruptions and solve common problems
  • assess the influence of different process parameters
  • to monitor the quality of the final product


Skills covered in this course
